Photo retouching has been around since the late 1800’s. With tools being used such as inks, dyes, pencils, paints, and even analogue airbrushes (hence the term “airbrushing”). Christian was very fortunate to have studied the original art of hand retouching one-on-one under a veteran in the industry who had been manipulating photography since the 1950’s. Although the world has turned digital now, Christian has taken these skills of original analogue photo retouching and applied them to a modern format; hence getting a finished result that can’t be achieved by modern day techniques alone.
